After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina, my husband Jim and I started looking for a new home. Jim got on the internet to research where in the south, other than the coast, the fishing was good, the taxes and insurance were low and was within a days travel of most of our 7 children. Arkansas was the winner! So we started at Bull-Shoals and kept looking until we found great fishing – great people and real estate on the White River we could afford. Jim’s passion is fishing.

My interest in stained glass started 10 years ago, when I wanted to make a stained glass totem pole. After taking classes and much practice the Totem Pole became a reality and I was hooked on glass. I have been doing shows and commissions ever since. Most of my work is done with the foil method.

My other medium is Photography, which lends itself to my glass work. Most of my work is of “critters”, fish and birds usually.

Native American culture is also one of my interest and it will often be the subject of my designs. Of course living in this treasure trove of beauty and wild life, my subject matter will reflect Arkansas culture, critters and landscapes.

I have had my work featured in Glass Patterns Quarterly. Have been featured in The Morning Star newspaper. Won first place at Rio Fest (Fine Arts Festival in Texas). Have work featured on Spectrum Glass’s and Werner-Crivellaro’s web gallery.
